So this last weekend we went to my cousins wedding in New Orleans, and it was amazing. Although I have a whole new perspective on Bourbon street now that I have seen it sober, thank you pregnancy 🙂 (the wedding was in the French Quarter, I swear I didn’t take my child to Bourbon street to party- that will happen when he is in college and we can bond over hand grenades)
My son was the ring bearer so he attended the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and ceremony. He was a total trooper! To keep him occupied in the downtime we let him bring some of his favorite toys along. Which inevitably were dropped, and occasionally dragged through the impeccably clean streets of New Orleans. We arrived home late Sunday evening after a 6 hour drive so I needed a quick way to deep clean all the toys we brought with us. Solution: the dishwasher
Just throw them in, add some dish washing detergent, and hit start. My dishwasher, like most, even has a sanitize cycle.
BOOM, toys clean. Now you have time to sit on the couch and enjoy a glass of wine knowing you are momming like a boss while not actually having to lift a finger. This is what they call working smarter, not harder people.
And because he is cuter than cleaning here is a picture of my son eating a beignet in New Orleans
